Find Virginia small businesses that just registered to sell IT and cybersecurity to the government
The sentence
Data, Find, SAM.gov registrations: NAICS 541512, 541519, state VA, Small business, registered after July 29, 2026, up to 25. Then Enrich them with one question: "In one sentence, what does this company offer government buyers (services, specialties, any agencies or contract vehicles it names)?"
A company has to register on SAM.gov before it can win a federal contract, so a new registration is a company getting ready to sell to the government, often months before its first award shows up anywhere. The search reads SAM.gov's public extract directly, so it answers instantly and uses none of SAM.gov's small daily API allowance. The sheet then adds what the registration says about each company and, from its own website, what it actually offers.

87 matches, newest first
87 active registrations matched, from the SAM.gov extract of October 4, 2026. The newest 25 are listed: Optimal AI in Lorton (registered September 22), Intruex in Richmond, Platform Data in Burke, Dominion Force Security in Haymarket and more.
Each row has the registration date, primary NAICS code, town, UEI and a link to the record on SAM.gov. Websites are the ones the companies registered, so every one is marked Sure.

The registration, row by row
The Government contracting columns: UEI, CAGE code, status, registration and expiry dates, primary and other NAICS codes, ownership, structure, location and any exclusion. 20 of the 24 also list 541519, and most list several more codes.
Ownership is self-reported on the registration: 6 service-disabled veteran-owned, 5 woman-owned small businesses, 12 minority-owned and 12 self-certified small disadvantaged. None holds an SBA certification yet, as you'd expect of companies this new.

- 6
What each one actually sells
21 of 24 answered from the company's own site, with the reason next to each: AI-driven biometrics and video analytics (Optimal AI), managed IT, Microsoft 365 and CMMC readiness (Platform Data), an autonomous API penetration-testing agent (Planck Defense), Google Cloud and Workspace work for the public sector (Dito).
Three were left blank with why: one site blocks automated visits, one homepage has only a tagline, one had no readable text. $0.21 of AI (87,518 tokens) on the owner's own Claude key.

Questions
- Where does the SAM.gov data come from?
- SAM.gov's monthly public entity extract, loaded on our side and searched directly. So the search answers instantly, isn't held to SAM.gov's daily API limit, and shows the date of the extract it read. Sole proprietors are left out.
- Does searching cost credits?
- No, searching and previewing are included. Enriching is 1 credit a row for the default columns, plus any AI questions you add, which run on your own AI key or the AI included in your plan.
- Can I find companies that already win contracts?
- Yes. Government contracts in Data, Find ranks companies by the federal contracts or grants they received, from USAspending.gov, by keyword, agency, NAICS code and state.
