How it works
- Apply from Settings in the app. We review every application by hand, and once you're approved we email you your own code (like JANE15).
- Your audience enters the code when they start a plan and gets 15% off for as long as they stay subscribed, renewals and plan changes included.
- You earn 10% of every plan payment they make, in cash, for as long as they stay. If their plan ends, the discount and your commission end with it.
- Stripe pays you straight to your bank early each month once $50 is payable. Each payment becomes payable 30 days after it's made.
An example
Someone you send starts the Growth plan with your code. They pay $41.65 a month instead of $49.00, and you earn $4.17 for every month they stay subscribed. Ten customers like that is $41.70 a month, for as long as they stay.
Who it's for
Newsletter writers, creators, consultants, agencies and communities whose audience builds lists of companies and contacts: sales, recruiting, marketing, research and ecommerce teams. Tell us where you'll share your code when you apply.
Affiliate terms
These terms are between you and Programmable, LLC and apply on top of the Terms of Service. By applying you agree to them.
- Approval. We approve or decline applications at our discretion, and may pause or end your participation at any time, for example if these terms are broken. Commissions earned lawfully before then are still paid, except where they came from a breach.
- Your code. Your code gives 15% off the Starter, Growth and Scale plans (and extra seats on them) for as long as that subscription stays active. It doesn't apply to credit packs. If a customer's plan ends, the discount ends; a customer who has subscribed with a code before can't use one again.
- Commission. You earn 10% of each plan payment a customer makes with your code applied, measured on what they actually paid, before tax, for as long as that subscription stays active. Your code on your own account, or accounts you control, earns nothing. A customer who joins with your code isn't also counted for our credit referral program.
- Refunds and disputes. A refunded or disputed payment takes back the same share of its commission, including after it has been paid, from what you earn next.
- Payouts. Commissions become payable 30 days after each payment. We pay early each month, in US dollars, through Stripe to the bank account you set up with Stripe (Stripe Connect), once at least $50 is payable; smaller amounts roll over. Stripe collects and keeps your identity, bank and tax details (including a W-9 or W-8BEN) on its own pages under its terms; we never see them, and we keep only your Stripe account's id. Stripe may convert the payout to your local currency. You're responsible for taxes on what you earn.
- How you promote. Say clearly that you're an affiliate and earn a commission (for example "affiliate link" or "I earn a commission"), as the FTC requires. Don't send spam or unsolicited messages, don't bid on "Programmable" or our domain in search ads, don't post your code on coupon or deal sites, don't make claims about the service that aren't on our site, and don't present yourself as Programmable.
- What you see. Settings shows how many customers used your code and what you've earned and been paid. We don't share customers' names or details with you.
- Changes. We may change the discount, the commission or these terms with 30 days' notice by email. Changes don't take away commissions already earned.
