Watch five online stores for new products, price changes and stock

The sentence

Watch gymshark.com, outdoorvoices.com, girlfriend.com, setactive.co and tenthousand.cc every day and tell me when they add new products, change prices or run out of stock

Screen recording, waits cut0:51

The sentence names five stores and three kinds of change, and that's all it needs: the chat sees it's a watch on whole stores, not a one-off list, and fills in the form with the stores, the three changes and every day. The first check reads every product each store lists, 3,495 in all, so later checks have something to compare with. Three hours later it had already caught five Gymshark products coming back in stock.

  2. 2

The watch, filled in for you to check

Set up the watch opens the form already filled in: Stores, the five websites, New products, Price changes and Stock picked, Every day.

Nothing is made until you press Create watch. Here only the name was changed.

The New watch form filled in from the sentence: five stores, new products, price changes and stock, every day

Run

  1. 3

The first check reads every product

The first check is a snapshot: 413 products at Outdoor Voices, 165 at Girlfriend Collective, 831 at Set Active, 86 at Ten Thousand and 2,000 at Gymshark, all on Shopify.

Gymshark lists more than the 2,000 a check reads, and the watch says what that means: prices and stock are compared on those 2,000, but new and removed products can't be told apart at that store.

The first check: how many products it read at each of the five stores

Result

  1. 4

What changed since the last check

Two checks over the next three hours each found a change at Gymshark: 3 products back in stock, then 2 more, each named, such as the Adapt Solid Zip Front Top in two colours.

The other four stores hadn't added, removed or repriced anything yet. A check that finds nothing says "no changes", and a store it can't read that time is named and not charged.

The watch's Signals tab: two changes at gymshark.com, products back in stock

What happens next

  1. 5

    Every day, on its own

The watch checks the five stores every day and adds what changed to Signals. Each check costs 5 credits, one per store.

To hear about it somewhere else, add an action: post each change to Slack or Microsoft Teams, add it to your CRM, or run an agent's link for the stores that changed.

Questions

Why didn't the first check report any changes?
There is nothing to compare it with yet. The first check takes a snapshot of every product, price and stock level; changes show from the second check on.
Which stores can it watch?
Most online stores: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce and Squarespace stores are read from their catalogs, and other stores from their product sitemaps and links. A check reads up to 2,000 products per store.
What does it cost?
One credit per store per check, and no AI. A store that can't be read on a check isn't charged for it.
