Find the tech stack of any website, in bulk
Selling to Shopify stores, HubSpot users or companies still on an old CMS starts with knowing what each site runs. Paste a list of websites and get each one's platform and tools, read from the site itself, plus what changed since a year ago from the Wayback Machine.
How it works
- Paste websites, upload a CSV, or use the API.
- Keep the Tech stack columns ticked (add Changes over time to see tools added or dropped).
- Download the sheet, pull it into Google Sheets with IMPORTDATA, or send it to your CRM.
Example: what goes in, what comes out
domains=
northwind-coffee.com One row back, with these columns
| cmsCMS | Shopify |
| ecommerceE-commerce | Shopify Plus |
| analyticsAnalytics | Google Analytics 4, Hotjar |
| marketing_toolsMarketing tools | Klaviyo, Meta Pixel |
| cdnCDN | Cloudflare |
| hostingHosting | Shopify |
| tech_addedTools added | Klaviyo |
| tech_removedTools dropped | Mailchimp |
A made-up company; the column names are the real ones you'll see in the sheet. tech_added and tech_removed come from the Changes over time group.
What you get
- CMS and framework
- Ecommerce platform
- Analytics and marketing tools
- CDN and hosting
- Tools added and dropped in the last year
Questions
- How is the tech stack detected?
- From the site's own code and headers: script sources, HTML markers, cookies and server headers, checked against a library of signatures.
- Can I find sites that use a specific tool?
- Yes: on the Find tab, describe the companies and add a technology filter, then enrich the matches.
